Olivia graduated with a Masters in Chinese Medicine from The Seattle Institute of East Asian Medicine. There she studied Classical Chinese Medicine which places a strong focus on herbal medicine and classical texts rooted in philosophy and centuries-old understanding of the body in relation to itself, cosmology and the environment. Training from this perspective allows Olivia to see the individual as a whole, applying a unique treatment to each visit.
Prior to achieving her masters, Olivia studied Classical Ayurvedic Medicine in Albuquerque, New Mexico at the Arogya Center. Her background in Ayurveda informs her unique dietary and lifestyle advice- giving Olivia a special lens to support patients with difficult and chronic digestive health concerns and anxiety disorders.
Olivia is trained in female and male fertility and completed her certification in Fertility Acupuncture Specialization from Rosefinch Academy. She is well versed in gynecological disorders, reproductive health and menopausal support including conditions like endometriosis, PMOS (formerly PCOS), amenorrhea, painful and heavy periods. Her background as a postpartum doula and special research in labor prep and cervical ripening and male infertility informs her ability to offer care at any stage of one’s fertility, pregnancy, early parenting and hormonal health journey. She is passionate about gender affirming care and supporting queer individuals and families. In addition to specializing in fertility and reproductive health, her general practice includes supporting mood and nervous system regulation like anxiety and depression, chronic and acute pain conditions and auto-immune disorders. Olivia has success in treating Bell’s Palsy, headaches and migraines, joint pain and inflammation.
