There are formulas specifically designed to support a mother through her pregnancy and help with delivery, as well as addressing post-partum issues.

Chinese Medicine is very effective at treating trauma. Using acupuncture we can facilitate healing of the connective tissue and guard against the formation of adhesions and scar tissue, we also have bone knitting formulas to help heal fractures, as well as other external applications of herbs that you can use at home. We have secrets that no one else knows about…ask us about ice and why we think it harms more than it helps recovery from an injury.

We treat surgery like we treat any other trauma to the body, the only difference is that if you have a scheduled surgery you have the advantage that we can help you prepare your body to heal and recover as quickly as possible. Even in American acupuncture schools today, the first herbs and formulas students learn are ones for treating colds and flus. So if you have a cold and feel you can make it in to the clinic, please come in as we can help you feel better much more quickly. Kick that cold today so it does not linger into next week.
CAN CHILDREN BENEFIT FROM ACUPUNCTURE?
Children’s conditions change much faster than adults and thus they respond very well to acupuncture. We treat children of any age and can treat infants by treating breastfeeding mothers. We do not need to use needles to treat children as all of our practitioners have been trained to use gentle pediatric techniques that involve stimulating channels with the hands or other effective tools. Massage is often taught to the parents to use on their children at home. We also carry a wonderful line of glycerin-based tinctures that are very sweet and easy to take.
HOW OFTEN SHOULD I COME?
Depending on your chief complaint, we will work with you to find a treatment plan that will best treat your condition and fits your lifestyle. For many conditions, you will notice results right away. For other chronic conditions, it may take 8 - 10 treatments to begin seeing change.
WILL I HAVE TO TAKE HERBS FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE?
To some degree it depends on the health issues that you are facing. Generally speaking, acute problems clear up rather quickly. Chronic issues take more time, but unlike many pharmaceutical medicines, in Chinese Medicine, the goal is to help you back into balance and then let your body take it from there.
CAN ACUPUNCTURE MAKE ME LOOK 10 YEARS YOUNGER?
